Position: As a Home Visitor, you’ll build meaningful relationships with families, support parents as their children’s first teachers, and help young children reach their full potential. Bring your passion for early childhood development to a collaborative Head Start team serving families throughout the Lamoille, Washinton, and Orange County areas. If you’re ready to empower families and make a lasting impact, we would love to hear from you! Occasional evening and weekend hours are required

- Barre/Berlin VT
- 2 Positions
- Morrisville VT
- 1 Position
Qualifications:
- Minimum of home visitor setting CDA or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate or baccalaureate degree in early childhood education
- Experience working with preschool children and their families, understanding parenting issues, adult learning styles, and sensitivity to the needs of low-income families.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance required.
- Ability to commit to a flexible work schedule that includes some evening and weekend hours.
- Knowledge of community resources.

- Excellent communication skills with both young children and adults.
- Demonstrated competency in engaging in effective, nurturing interactions with children and adults.
- Ability to plan and implement appropriate, child-centered learning experiences.
- Familiarity with community resources and supportive services.
- Positive regard for and ability to engage with diverse populations and people with low incomes.
- Commitment to leading and working collaboratively with a team toward shared goals and objectives.
