We are seeking a Sr. Contracts Manager III who will serve as the primary commercial contracting lead for a PE backed healthcare IT company selling both hardware and software solutions. This role sits within the Legal function and will operate as the key scale point for Legal, owning day to day commercial and vendor contracting while partnering closely with the EVP of Legal, Sales, Finance, IT, and other senior and executive business leaders. This is a hands on, senior, business facing role requiring strong judgment, commercial acumen, and the ability to independently manage a high volume and wide variety of agreements in a regulated healthcare environment. The role is intentionally designed for an experienced professional who thrives in lean environments and can operate with significant autonomy.

This position reports to the Executive Vice President, Legal and will be a fully remote position with travel expectations.

As Capsa’s Sr. Contracts Manager III, your contributions to the team will include oversight of the following:

  • Commercial & Revenue-Generating Contracts
  • Vendor, Technology & Operational Contracts
  • Healthcare, Data & Regulatory-Adjacent Support
  • Contract Process, Scale & Stakeholder Management
  • Deal Authority & Escalation Framework
  • Travel as required to successfully evaluate & support projects and teams in the field.
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned.

What We Ask Of You

  • 12 years of progressively responsible experience in contract negotiation and contract management within an in-house legal department, law firm, or equivalent corporate contracts environment.
  • Demonstrated experience directly negotiating commercial and vendor agreements with customers, partners, and suppliers, preferably in healthcare, healthcare IT, SaaS, hardware or other regulated industries.
  • Strong working knowledge of common legal and business contract terms, with the ability to clearly explain risks, tradeoffs, and recommended positions to non-legal business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
  • Prior experience mentoring, training, or informally leading others in a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage credibly at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong negotiation skills paired with practical, business-oriented judgment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage numerous parallel negotiations and shifting priorities.
  • Proven ability to meet demanding deadlines in a high-growth, high-volume environment.
  • Self-directed, independent, and comfortable operating with limited oversight.
  • Strong internal-client service mindset with the confidence to hold firm on risk when required.
