Responsibilities
✅ Team Leadership
- Recruit, hire, and retain top talent
- Coach, develop, and motivate team members following Capriotti’s training standards
- Identify development needs to foster growth and retention
- Prepare fair, cost-conscious schedules without sacrificing guest satisfaction or morale
- Maintain high service standards and uphold company culture
- Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and presentation of all menu items
- Uphold Capriotti’s recipes for consistent guest experiences
- Oversee compliance with health, safety, and maintenance regulations
- Handle cash management, deposits, cost of goods, labor, and other financials
- Promote a “salesmanship” culture at the counter with suggestive selling techniques
- Manage purchasing, inventory, and waste control effectively
- Support local and brand-wide marketing initiatives
- Communicate effectively with team members, guests, vendors, and corporate
- Build trust across all shop relationships
- Analyze challenges and make sound decisions
- Stay calm and adaptable under pressure and shifting priorities
- Service-oriented with a strong desire to help others
- Time management skills; able to multitask while maintaining focus on guest experience and product quality
- Tech skills: POS system experience; computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, documents)
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one)
- Work in temperatures from 0°F to 100°F
- Stand/move for extended periods
- Lift 50 lbs. up to 10 feet; balance and carry 25 lbs. up to 50 feet
