CAPP, a leading supplier of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing parts & equipment, is looking for an Engineer to support our dynamic sales team. Are you an HVAC, electrical, or instrumentation technician who has a knack and experience for buildings and temperature control systems?
The ideal candidate should have direct experience with some or all the following areas: Building HVAC R/controls, Process Instrumentation, Electrical disciplines serving commercial and industrial applications.
The candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit and can add value across the organization; from assisting with our repair/manufacturing operations, helping our sales staff with engineering-related requests/questions, to interacting with our customers.
What you’ll do:
Lead the organization in troubleshooting, servicing (on/off site) and selling HVAC, Instrumentation, Process applications, parts and/or solutions.
Utilize and implement technology, i.e. testing/measurement equipment to computer based technology
Collaborate with sales staff to assist in troubleshooting customer issues, provide substitutions/product alternatives and comprehensive sales support.
Develop and maintain a courteous and service-oriented rapport with all customers and fellow employees
Possess clear and effective written and verbal communications skills
Evaluate & understand project requests, drawings and other documentation
Effectively create and present proposals and quotations
Qualify opportunities and clarify the scope of the solution
Provide general information on all products
Cross-selling and up-selling; set up leads for new business opportunities
Who you are:
3 years related experience preferred; HVAC, Electrical, etc.
Have strong, demonstrated experience troubleshooting, servicing (on/off site) and selling HVAC, Instrumentation, Process applications, parts and/or solutions.
Positive, results oriented attitude
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Exceptional problem solving skills
Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
