Duties
- Supervise front of house staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to foster a motivated team environment
- Oversee guest service operations, ensuring timely and friendly interactions that exceed customer expectations
- Manage POS system (Toast) for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation, timely delivery of orders, and adherence to food safety standards
- Control inventory levels for front of house supplies, monitor stock rotation, and assist with food management procedures
- Conduct shift management duties including opening, closing, and ensuring all operational procedures are followed efficiently
- Assist with interviewing and onboarding new team members to build a strong hospitality team
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food handling knowledge
- Familiarity with POS systems Toast for transaction processing and reporting
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising hospitality teams, managing staff training, and conducting performance evaluations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and promptly
- Strong understanding of food safety management practices and food production processes
- Effective communication skills for managerial tasks such as team training, staff meetings, and conflict resolution
- Basic math skills for cash handling, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and inventory control
- Experience in restaurant or casual dining settings with banquet or catering experience considered a plus
