JOB FUNCTION:
Prepare for and manage the day-to-day operational activities of a family child care setting assigned to support as a substitute or second adult caregiver. Understand and support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment. Communicate effectively with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, the family child care educator, and the parents. Build collaborative relationships with area family child care educators, and explore additional shared services supports to save providers’ cost and time.
