Key Responsibilities:
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move heavy materials.
- Order Picking: Pick and verify outbound orders.
- Loading/Unloading: Load shipments onto company flatbeds and customer pickup trucks.
- Receiving: Accurately receive, check, and log incoming distribution materials.
- Stocking: Keep inventory organized in designated yard and warehouse zones.
- Safety: Maintain a clean, accident-free, and safe facility floor.
Qualifications:
- Commute Constraint: Must live within a strict 20-minute driving radius of Wayne, NJ (punctuality is critical).
- Physical: Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 50 lbs in outdoor yard environments.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or construction yard labor experience is highly valued.
- Traits: Self-starter, strong attention to detail, and an excellent attendance record.
- Pluses: Existing OSHA stand-up forklift certification or plumbing product knowledge is a major plus.
