Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Heating Air Conditioning Technician based in Mechanicsville, VA. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, conducting troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety and efficiency. Additional tasks may include addressing plumbing and electrical issues, collaborating with the maintenance team, and ensuring compliance with EPA standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve HVAC issues effectively
- Proficiency in Plumbing tasks and Preventive Maintenance practices to ensure optimal system performance
- Understanding of EPA regulations and the handling of refrigerants
- Knowledge of Electricity and its application in HVAC or related systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- EPA certification is required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification is a plus
- Prior experience in HVAC repair and maintenance is preferred
