Job Summary:
Capitol Imaging Services is seeking a dual role for a dedicated and detail-oriented Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) and Technologist Assistant to join our imaging team. The LMRT will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic procedures under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, ensuring patient safety and comfort, while also supporting the imaging technologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role ensures smooth workflow by preparing patients, maintaining equipment, and assisting with administrative and clinical tasks to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform limited radiographic exams as authorized by state licensure.

Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort.

Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively.

Greet and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner.

Assist technologists during imaging procedures as needed.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

Assist with patient flow and administrative tasks as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:

Current LMRT license in the state of [Insert State].

- Maintains communication and cooperation with radiologists and other ancillary departments regarding changes in protocol, scheduling of procedures, exams performed and patient flow.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, colleagues and referring offices.
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
Preferred Experience:
Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience.
Multi-modality is a plus. Opportunity to learn Mammography.
Required Education/Certification:

- Licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Current ARRT/ Radiologic Technologist License
