JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Medical Social Worker is responsible for the implementation of standards of care for medical social work services and as defined by the state Medical Social Work Practice Act.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A graduate of a Master's degree program in Social Work (MSW) from a school of Social Work Accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
- Minimum licensure requirements: Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) with current and unencumbered license to practice in the state of employment. Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) preferred but not required.
- Minimum of one (1) years' experience in health care. Experience in a Home Health, preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
