Safety Manager
- Oversee all company safety matters in air and on ground.
- Maintain the safety program, reporting system, and investigate all incidents.
- Manage the emergency readiness plan and aircraft emergency provisions.
- Keep management updated on laws, regulations, standards, and IRPs.
- Distribute safety publications and produce safety notifications and promotions.
- Maintain safety manuals, forms, reports, and all safety documentation.
- Assist managers with safety requirements, research, and program support.
- Conduct safety audits and workplace inspections and submit required reports.
- Track worker evaluations, inspections, and certifications for compliance.
- Schedule workers for recertification before training expiration dates.
- Ensure PPE and all safety equipment are stocked and maintained.
- Review SOPs and recommend improvements to enhance safety.
- Chair the Safety Committee and ensure regular meetings occur.
- Represent the company with external safety organizations and agencies.
- Represent the company during external safety audits and inspections.
- Coordinate with the DOM on all flight safety requirements.
- Verify maintenance facilities and equipment meet required standards.
- Conduct site visits to review site and flight safety practices.
- Assess customer-provided safety facilities for operational suitability.
