We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support and enhance our data warehouse environment and analytics tools. In this role, you will help empower business leaders with high-quality business intelligence, enabling impactful strategic decision-making across the organization. You will contribute to defining our data development roadmap, establishing standards, and architecting scalable data solutions using industry best practices. This position will play a key role in implementing a hybrid on-premise and cloud data strategy for the future of data processing at the bank.
Required Experience
- 2 years of data engineering experience with a strong focus on ETL/ELT development
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning and optimization (preferred)
- Experience working with SQL Server and Oracle
- Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments
- Working knowledge of BI tools such as Sigma, Power BI, SSRS, or Crystal Reports
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data lake architecture
- Familiarity with data integration tools and orchestration frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
