Dispatcher/Customer Service

Capitol Express is a regional small package courier and expedited freight carrier with locations in Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Louisville, and Lexington. Our customers include Air Cargo and Freight Forwarders, local businesses, and logistics companies.

We are currently looking to fill a day shift positions. We are looking for candidates that are flexible in their availability, dedicated, determined, and take pride in their work.

One Weekend day required.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES:

Taking Client Calls

Receiving and Responding to Email alerts.

Entering alerts for delivery into dispatch software.

Assigning jobs to drivers.

Routing and Mapping.

Tracking and Advising.

Updating customer web portals.

Requirements

Qualifications include:
Strong computer skills, data entry is part of the job.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast paced environment.

· Must be able to communicate clearly with both drivers and customers in a busy working environment..

·We are looking for a dependable, punctual individual who is committed to showing up for work and someone who will contribute to our team atmosphere and wants to be with a growing company.

· Working knowledge of the Cincinnati Metro area is required.

· Dispatch experience preferred driver experience would be helpful.

· We will accept qualified candidates with no experience and train them for a successful career in the Logistics Industry.

Must have excellent "people skills", including the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of customers, co-workers, and owner-operators. Our business model is based on the concept that our relationship with our customers and owner-operators is a true partnership.
