The Warehouse Manager oversees the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient handling of inventory, equipment, vendor documentation (e.g., Certificates of Analysis), and personnel. Routing and dispatching drivers, maintaining driver logs and route sheets. This role ensures all programs and procedures are followed while upholding compliance with industry standards and food safety requirements.
Responsibilities

Manage logistics and scheduling to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Supervise and manage warehouse personnel and daily warehouse activities.

Ensure accurate and timely handling of all inbound and outbound shipments.

Uphold and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to food safety and warehouse practices.

Ensure industry standards and internal policies are consistently met.

Conduct follow-up meetings and training sessions with warehouse staff as needed.

Oversee the maintenance of the warehouse facility and equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, trucks, and trailers.

Collaborate closely with Purchasing and Sales departments to ensure inventory and procurement align with operational needs.

Maintain and manage vendor relationships including tracking and verifying Vendor Certificates of Analysis (COAs).

Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and immediately report any safety or quality concerns to authorized personnel.

Support continuous improvement in warehouse processes, safety, and operational efficiency.
Experience

Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience in the food manufacturing or food distribution industry.

Experience with logistics coordination and personnel management required.
Language Skills

Bilingual (English / Spanish) required.

Ability to read, interpret, and communicate details from purchase orders, contracts, and operational documents in both languages.
