Job Title: Warehouse Operations Supervisor
Benchmark: $58,000 - $70,000 DOE
Schedule: Capitol Distributing is a 24/7 warehouse. We strive to provide a healthy work/life balance for our employees while also ensuring we meet business needs. The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will be a full-time employee assigned to a consistent schedule to meet business needs. This schedule can include days, swing, nights, and weekends.

About Capitol: Capitol Distributing is the largest convenience wholesale distributor in Idaho. Founded in 1983, Capitol delivers to retailers in most Westerns States from its 300,000 square foot distribution center in Caldwell, Idaho.
Job Responsibilities: We are looking for Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee multiple areas of our warehouse. This position ensures that distribution operations remain a smooth and efficient process by leading employees and organizing workflows.
Responsibilities (General):
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
- Assist and report to Operations Managers/ Superintendents as needed.
- Assist leads and team members in tasks as needed.
- Ensure equipment and supplies are maintained, charged and ready each day.
- Balance labor between departments and areas.
- Strong understanding of all technologies, equipment, and systems used.
- Assist with troubleshooting, quick fix, or reporting of equipment failures.
- Train and mentor Operation Leads.
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to with a focus on safety.
- Conduct formal and informal training for employees.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators and operational metrics.
- First point-of-contact for employees regarding general questions and scheduling.
- Coordinate daily labor schedule changes, review/approve PTO requests, etc.
- Assist in conducting Performance Reviews.
- Address and monitor disciplinary issues with employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required. College degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or related field a plus.
- 1 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- 1 years of experience achieving production or business goals.
- Experience working in a large warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing facility a plus.
- Demonstrate leadership, proactive thinking, strategic thinking, and problem solving.
- Ability to complete and maintain reports, and schedules.
- Ability to build consensus and relationships with employees.
- Proficient Technology Skills, including Microsoft Office Suite or related software
