This is a full-time, on-site position located in Baton Rouge, LA, for a Quality Assurance Specialist. The role involves conducting routine quality control checks, implementing and monitoring quality assurance protocols, managing quality documentation, and performing audits to ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality produce standards in alignment with the company's commitment to excellence.
- Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and their application
- Proficiency in executing and documenting Quality Auditing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and compliance is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Food Science, or a related field is a plus
