Position Summary
Capitol Bridge Health Services is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our Human Resources team at our Bogalusa, LA location. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily HR office operations and general administrative tasks.
The HR Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the Human Resources department across various functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, and compliance. This position requires a professional with the highest level of integrity, strong independent judgment, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The role involves both HR-specific duties and personal assistant tasks, demanding excellent organizational skills and effective communication.
Location: On-Site – Bogalusa, LA
Pay And Benefits
Compensation: $23.95/hr

Key Responsibilities
- Process new hire paperwork and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
- Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate onboarding processes
- Coordinate employee training and development programs
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and HR databases
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely HR-related support
- Assist with performance evaluation processes
- Support employee relations efforts, including investigations and conflict resolution
- Monitor HR compliance and stay informed on relevant employment laws and regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the HR Manager
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or in a related role
- Ability to work on-site at the Bogalusa, LA location
- Proficient in operating general office equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in office administration or related field preferred but not mandatory
