What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Technician Mechanic position at Capitol Auto Care?
We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, and repair vehicles, as well as support the service writer when needed. This position is full-time and works Monday - Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pmResponsibilities:Diagnose and repair automotive vehiclesPerform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenanceProvide labor and time estimates for automotive repairsInspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustmentsSupport the Service Writer when neededQualifications:Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fieldsKnowledge of diagnostic and repair equipmentKnowledge of Alldata Manage and Repair is a plusStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsDeadline and detail-orientedValid CA driver's licenseFluent in EnglishMust provide own toolsProficient computer skillsCompany DescriptionWe are a family-owned and operated automotive repair facility in operation since 2007. We offer a full range of auto repair services and we are a STAR Smog Check Station, State Certified Official Lamp Adjusting Station, and a State-Certified Official Brake Adjusting Station.
