As a Manager, Product Manager in the Operations GenAI space, you will be leading an effort to use Generative AI to transform how we deal with fraud and streamline our operations. You’ll lead a large cross-functional team, all the way from research to proposing solutions and delivering. The ideal candidate for this role has knowledge and experience with developing solutions centered around language research, NLP methods, Generative AI and designing AI agents. You have both a deep technical understanding of the rapidly developing state of language models and a passion to bring them to life in ways that improves the associate and customer experience. You are able to align a large group of stakeholders, and are comfortable speaking with senior leaders to help educate and advocate for these next generation solutions. Here is what we will bring to the table: Competitive salary and equity (including a robust 401(k) plan) Excellent medical and dental insurance (and other health benefits) Superstar product, design, data and engineering leaders Top class engineering teams that you will lead and build product alongside Continuous learning budget Highly supportive and “bought in” leadership environment Basic Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing solutions centered around language research, NLP methods, Generative AI and designing AI agents Experience developing language models in a research or applied setting or have partnered with researchers in developing LLM applications Have directed cross functional engineering teams in aid of bringing an end-to-end solution to market with an eye towards system performance and resiliency Experience aligning a large and diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders toward solutions Ability to make critical tradeoffs and communicate recommendations with senior stakeholders Ability to set a transformative vision to solve for customer and associate problems At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager, Product Management New York, NY: $172,800 - $197,200 for Manager, Product Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
