Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Management & Leasing Specialist to oversee daily leasing activities and support the management of residential properties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tenants, staying organized, and helping properties operate efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lease residential apartments from initial inquiry through move-in.
- Manage leases, renewals, rent collections, and tenant records
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with tenants and respond to inquiries or issues in a timely manner
- Utilize Excel and property management software such as RentRedi and/or AppFolio for tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Conduct unit walks to ensure apartments are up to code, well-maintained, and ready for leasing
- Coordinate unit readiness between tenants, vendors, and management
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with leasing and property standards
Qualifications
- Experience in property management, leasing, or real estate preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with RentRedi, AppFolio, or similar property management software is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Professional demeanor with a tenant-focused mindset
