Summary
As a Housekeeper, you are the primary point of contact for all prospective residents and will play a critical role in ensuring all prospective and existing residents feel welcome at Capital Square’s properties. The Housekeeper position is responsible for performing tasks to ensure the overall cleanliness and proper appearance of vacant apartment homes, leasing office, and other amenities to enhance and maintain property appeal.
Primary Responsibilities
- Cleans the leasing office, clubhouse and common-area restrooms, the model(s), amenities and vacant apartment homes on a daily basis or as directed by the appropriate supervisor.
- Ensures all vacant apartment homes and targeted show units are freshened throughout the day to maintain market-ready appeal.
- Assists in the make-ready process by performing additional duties requested by Service Manager, Community Manager and/or Assistant Community Manager.
- Informs appropriate supervisor of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation to residents, team members, guests, and others.
- Maintains an appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies and informs the appropriate supervisor when a re-order is necessary.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- School or GED (General Education Diploma)
- Previous leasing experience a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and customer service mindset
- Strong computer technology skills with basic knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Yardi/Yardi Voyager experience a plus
- A valid driver’s license may be required
- A positive, motivating and team-oriented attitude
- A desire to exceed in a very competitive environment
Work Hours
Will normally work a Monday-Friday schedule with rotating weekends; (hours may vary to meet the business needs of the property).
Work Location
Onsite at our property. Incumbents work in an office environment but also may have frequent exposure to outside elements where temperature, weather, odors and/or landscape may be unpleasant and/or hazardous.
