Capital Quarries is looking to fill a Scale House Attendant position at our Hermann Quarry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Weigh trucks and prepare tickets for truck drivers in order to keep accurate records
- Operate in-bound and out-bound scales
- Direct truck drivers to the appropriate loading areas
- Facilitate payment for material
- Ensure all transaction data and customer information is entered accurately
- Respond to all customer inquiries with superior customer service skills and a high sense of urgency
- Communicate in person and by phone with customers and team members
- Ensure all truck drivers are complying with the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong organization skills
- Reliable Transportation
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong ability to multi-task with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
