What You Will Do
As a Special Education Secretary, you will work directly with our Deputy Director to support our in-house and itinerant programs. Every day is an exciting, fulfilling experience.
- You will support the Deputy Director as they manage and supervise itinerant employees serving students in our component school districts.
- Your day will be busy supporting special education division by ensuring our special education referrals are processed efficiently. This includes reviewing and tracking intake documentation for completeness, requesting information from school districts when needed and maintaining detailed files.
- You will play an integral role by accurately entering special education related data into the appropriate systems to produce accurate reports geared to improve our services for our students.
- You will assist our division staff by monitoring and tracking various professional development activities in real time to ensure that accurate credit is awarded.
- You will be an important resource for school districts and parents of students participating in our programs.
