What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder Fabricator/Maintenance position at CAPITAL QUARRIES COMPANY INC?
Capital Materials is looking for skilled individuals who are capable of welding on plants and equipment. This position will travel between our Quarries and Sand Plant in Arkansas. They will cover, Harrisburg, Pocahontas, and Black Rock AR.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manufactures, repairs, modifies, rebuilds, and assembles various components related to our plants and equipment
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, including all standard welding symbols
- Welds and performs work at a steady pace to maintain the construction schedule and meet efficiency rates
- Uses required measuring instruments and gauges to check and ensure parts meet dimensional requirements
- Operates all machinery and equipment according to safety requirements
- Must maintain equipment and machinery
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Welding experience- willing to give experience to the right candidate
- Experience with torches, plasma cutters, and grinders
- Experience with TIG, MIG, and stick welding
- Must be willing to travel across Missouri
- Must have valid driver’s license, Class E preferred
- Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
