- Prospect and close new business while expanding existing customer accounts.
- Promote CPE's rental equipment-including pumps and filtration systems-to commercial, industrial, and municipal clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle: cold calling, quoting, site visits, presentations, and contract negotiation.
- Conduct weekly equipment demos (Tow-n-Shows) and monthly customer Lunch & Learns.
- Provide consistent follow-up, weekly sales reporting, and active call tracking.
- Host and participate in sales blitzes focused on target accounts and territories.
- Stay active in trade associations and attend monthly networking events and trade shows.
- Support after-hours/emergency sales calls to ensure customer satisfaction and up time.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including branch managers and operations teams.
- Maintain a well-branded company vehicle stocked with up-to-date sales collateral.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of B2B sales experience in rental equipment, industrial services, or construction equipment.
- Specific experience selling pumps, filtration systems, or related equipment is strongly preferred.
- Strong consultative sales and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a territory independently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
