We are seeking a Graduate Gemologist who is passionate about jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, and continuous learning. This position plays a key role in evaluating, pricing and authenticating jewelry for resale across our stores.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and authenticate diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry
- Grade diamonds and determine appropriate resale values
- Identify gemstones and assess marketability
- Assist with purchasing, lending, and pricing decisions
- Support jewelry merchandising and inventory management
- Train and coach team members on jewelry and gemstone identification
- Stay current on market trends, pricing, and industry standards
- Collaborate with store leadership to maximize sales and customer satisfaction
- Help maintain accurate inventory records and product descriptions
What We’re Looking For
- GIA Graduate Gemologist; diploma required
- Strong diamond grading and gemstone identification skills
- Experience pricing jewelry for resale or wholesale
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and coaching abilities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
