Sales Intern

Description

Position Summary: Capital now has an opening for an intern in Sales at our Branch office. This is the perfect opportunity for a current student or inexperienced grad in the Business, Sales, Marketing or related fields to gain real-life practical experience with a growing company. This is a paid, temporary internship that could last 6-9 months. Hours would be up to 30 per week, but varying. Range: $19-22/hr

Essential Functions: Under the direction of Corporate Staff and guidance of Field Branch/Sales Manager;

• Research product, market or application of product
• Assist with reporting and gathering of information
• Assist and attend meetings and events
• Assist with correspondence
• Assist with keeping marketing materials and site data current
• Assist Sales team with other duties as assigned.
• Presents research and reports to supervisor
• Acts as a resource for Sales team as needed.
• Performs other work related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Is flexible and adaptable to changes that occur during the course of employment.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

• Current College Junior/Senior level pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field (or grad looking for first level of experience), or newly graduated with degree in same.
• Excellent demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Extensive PC & Internet skills - must have extensive, hands-on experience using search engines, cutting & pasting, moving through multiple windows and keyboard skills
• Solid work history
• Excellent attendance history
• Possess High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks.

Salary : $19 - $22
