Position Overview
- Conducts advanced level training courses for emergency and non emergency medical personnel and lay public.
- Maintains attendance records of all assigned programs.
- Maintains instructorship by recognized national or state agency.
- Participates in discussions and studies to identify educational needs. Provides ample availability and teaches throughout the year while adhering to prescribed course minimums.
- Integrates information regarding evidence based practice and CH regulatory standards in educational activities. Considers results of course evaluations in modifying or maintaining teaching methodology.
- Uses a variety of instructional methods and teaching strategies. Participates in developing, updating, and maintaining educational materials. Applies principles of adult learning theory to facilitate learning.
