Responsibilities

• Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles of all types, including those with manual transmissions or specialized equipment like flatbeds.
• Assess vehicle conditions using automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to determine the best towing approach.
• Load and unload vehicles carefully, ensuring damage-free handling while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally.
• Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, maintaining a positive attitude even under pressure.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation to ensure safe delivery at designated locations.
• Maintain detailed records of each tow including pickup and drop-off details, vehicle condition reports, and service logs.
• Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience driving tow trucks preferred. Willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs when necessary.
• Proven ability to operate flatbed tow trucks or similar equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
• Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and diplomatically.
• Prior experience in commercial driving or roadside assistance is a plus.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout shifts. Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
