**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Receiving and Inspection:**
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Record and report any issues with received goods to the appropriate personnel.
2. **Stocking and Shelving:**
- Organize and stock incoming products in designated storage areas.
- Maintain a well-organized and clean warehouse space to facilitate efficient workflow.
3. **Order Picking and Packing:**
- Accurately pick items from designated locations based on order requirements.
- Pack and label items securely for shipment, ensuring proper documentation.
4. **Shipping and Documentation:**
- Prepare shipments by verifying order accuracy, packing items, and generating shipping labels.
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of outgoing shipments.
5. **Inventory Management:**
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory audits.
- Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) as needed.
6. **Quality Control:**
- Inspect products for quality and report any defects or issues.
- Collaborate with supervisors to address and resolve quality concerns promptly.
7. **Equipment Operation:**
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
8. **Team Collaboration:**
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and other departments to achieve operational goals.
- Communicate effectively to ensure a smooth flow of information and tasks.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
**Working Conditions:**
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Physical requirements include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- May involve occasional overtime and weekend work based on business needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
