Armed Security Officer "Bilingual"

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly professional and "BILINGUAL" Armed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our clients, staff, and premises. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, along with a solid background in security protocols and law enforcement practices. This role requires vigilance, quick decision-making, and the ability to handle potentially high-pressure situations with confidence. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and responding effectively to incidents to maintain a safe environment.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats
• Monitor surveillance systems including CCTV to oversee activity within the facility
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches, applying conflict management skills as needed
• Enforce access control policies by verifying credentials and maintaining logs of visitors and staff
• Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until medical professionals arrive
• Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Conduct loss prevention activities by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
• Assist with conflict resolution by employing de-escalation techniques and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
• Enforce company policies and legal regulations related to security operations

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or private security is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and alarm systems is preferred
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are advantageous
• Experience with loss prevention techniques or security-related roles is a plus
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with diverse populations
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and discretion
