Responsibilities

• New Business Sales Processing - Issuing & Handling policies
• Assuring all documents & contracts have been completed and signed
• Creating customers accounts and processing payments (First 60 Days)
• Explaining coverage details and assisting with claim questions
• Handling underwriting concerns and addressing loss control recommendations (First 60 Days)
• Processing New Business & Renewals Excess & Surplus Lines
• Manage customer service requests and policy adjustments for Excess & Surplus Lines
• Processing Excess Lines Filings
• Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
• Working with assigned Account Executives to process changes in coverages or premium (First 60 Days)
• Working directly with insurance underwriters to process requests in a timely manner

Skills

• Proven experience as an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Underwriter
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle high levels of incoming requests
• Problem solving skills and to be able to take initiative
• Drive to learn and expand your knowledge
• Enthusiastic and passionate

Capital Gate Insurance Group is looking for motivated professionals with prior Commercial Insurance experience to join our expanding Commercial Lines Team. Since opening our doors in 2011 as an Auto & Home Insurance Brokerage, we’ve grown into a leader in both personal and commercial insurance, serving clients across multiple states and industries. Key Responsibilities:

• Process new business sales, issue policies, and ensure all documentation and contracts are completed and signed.
• Create customer accounts, handle payments, and assist with underwriting concerns and loss control recommendations during the first 60 days.
• Explain coverage details, address claim questions, and resolve customer complaints to maintain satisfaction and uphold the company’s reputation.
• Manage new business, renewals, and service requests for Excess & Surplus Lines, including policy adjustments and filings.
• Issue certificates of insurance and assist clients with policy changes in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure all tasks are completed thoroughly from start to finish.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and insurance underwriters to process coverage changes and requests promptly.
