Job Overview
Capital Fuels is seeking a part-time Fuel Station Technician with proven mechanical aptitude to work at our Idaho Falls station. Must be able to work 7 am-9 am, Monday-Friday. This is a great part-time opportunity for someone to earn extra income.
You'll be responsible for supervising the station and making sure the overall needs of the station are met while representing Capital Fuels in a professional manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for minor fuel dispenser maintenance, cleanliness of fuel islands and fuel dispensers, maintenance and cleanliness of the entire lot, and other equipment maintenance as needed.
- Be a strong representative for Capital Fuels, building client relationships and responding to requests in a timely and appropriate manner
- Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems
- Use either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes (not including computers or vehicles)
- Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with regulations or standards issued by the organization
- Other duties as assigned
FUEL TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS
- Cleaning experience
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Computer literate
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Mathematical skills and reasoning abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
