Trust Operations Associate IResponsible for assisting in the day-to-day trust operations processes in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Focus on Separately Managed Accounts. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESTrust Separately Managed Accounts (SMA): Set up and Maintain data-feeds between custodians and accounting software.Upload SMA Assets and Cost Basis of SMA assets during trust set-up.Work with Trust Operations Vendor to monitor asset reconciliation reports.Post transactions and reconcile with custodian for non-data-fed accounts. Support trust tax preparation process regarding tax lot information as necessary. Support of Other Trust Operations Tasks:Support Trust Deposit System functions Support establishment and maintenance of online SMA profiles. Interface directly, on a timely basis, with trust administration group and trust operations vendors in the resolution of work related to inquiries, problems or discrepancies.Support account set-up process working with Trust Officer(s) and/or Trust Case Manager(s).Other duties and projects, as assigned by management.COMPETENCIESCommunication SkillsUse professional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Communicate effectively and interact professionally with others, including other associates and third-parties.Follow company policies for electronic communications and internet use.Computer/Technical/Subject Matter ExpertiseBasic Understanding of Trust Accounting Software.
