Job Summary
Provide overall project material and equipment receiving, quantity verification, and warehousing for the electrical construction contractor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
- [May be] Subject to the Company’s DOT Substance Abuse Testing Program.
- Self-motivated personal drive.
- Strong organizational skills

- Contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
- Experience working in electrical shipping/receiving and warehouse environments.
- Experience in the construction industry.
- 1 year of experience in warehousing, material handling, and forklift/telehandler experience.
- CDL a plus.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Safety #1 - Wear personal protective gear (safety glasses, gloves, seat belts, earplugs, etc.) to ensure the safe performance of essential job functions.
- Receive, unload and store material and equipment deliveries for projects.
- Document damaged material and equipment deliveries and communicate to Project Management.
- Assist Project Managers in properly “checking in” project materials and deliveries to ensure packing slips match actual materials and equipment delivered.
- Maintain, clean, and organize project materials and equipment in the warehouse and outside storage lot.
- Pull and organize all project materials and equipment for field personnel to pick up in preparation of project start.
- Deliver project materials and equipment to active projects with company-provided vehicle, as necessary.
- Maintain inventory levels of consumable materials, as requested by Project Management.
- Move heavy equipment, parts, or supplies, either manually or with equipment.
- Park and organize company equipment and tooling in preparation of project start.
- Wash and clean company vehicles and equipment returned to office in preparation of next project assignment.
- Clean warehouse floors by sweeping, mopping, and/or scrubbing.
- Gather and empty trash in warehouse and outside storage lot.
- Notify managers of safety concerns in the warehouse and storage lot.
- Safely drive various company-owned vehicles and equipment (pickup truck, forklift, material telehandler, etc.).
- This position is required to drive.
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Salary is negotiable based on experience and education.
