The CDYMCA is in search of Corporate Personal Trainer to join our team at one of our corporate locations!
Our Corporate Personal Trainer provides excellent customer service through guiding, supporting and motivating members through in-depth personal wellness training, testing, and exercise prescription. This is a part time hourly position.
WORK SHIFTS: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM OR 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational personal training sessions, as directed by the supervisor.
- Conduct health screening questionnaire to ask and answer questions from program participants and members to support them in achieving their goals related to health and well-being.
- Maintains working knowledge of wellness and trends to provide effective information and support to members. Assist members with proper usage of wellness equipment and exercise techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- AA/AS in Physical Ed., Recreation, Sports Mgt., or a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Current CPR and national certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, and NASM) in Personal Training instruction or YMCA Foundations of Strength and Conditioning certification required.
- Experienced in both Individual and Group Personal Training.
- Minimum of one year experience in wellness field, corporate setting preferred.
Hourly rate is $30.58 with a Free membership upon hire!
