Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electronic Technician located on the New Yotk State Thruway, New York Division. The Electronic Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of electronic equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and repairing issues related to electricity and electronics technology, as well as supporting operational excellence through proactive maintenance.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electronics Technology, including an understanding of two way radio and electronic systems
- Experience with Soldering and Troubleshooting electronic equipment
- Knowledge of Electricity principles and Maintenance & Repair practices
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills
- Ability to work independently with attention to safety protocols
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Associate degree or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in two-way radio or microwave technology is a plus
