What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Manager, Strategic Partner Compliance position at Capital Community Bank?
The Manager, Strategic Partner Compliance will manage all aspects of the Bank's Strategic Partner ("SP") Compliance Management System for assigned partners. Under the direction of the VP of SP Compliance, the incumbent will create, deploy, and manage systems and controls in accordance with state and federal banking compliance regulations, as applicable.
Responsibilities-
Development, Implementation, & Administration: Oversee all aspects of the Strategic Partner Compliance Management System for assigned SPs.
Exams & Audits: Coordinate and assist in the administration of independent, state, and federal examinations, reviews, and audits.
Risk Assessment: Perform regular risk assessments for assigned SPs.
Monitoring: Perform regular monitoring activities for assigned SPs including for: complaints, issues, policies and procedures, and compliance training. In addition to scheduled monitoring activities, the Manager will perform risk-based reviews as needed.
Issues Management: Identify, report, and remediate Strategic Partner compliance issues.
Communication & Presentation: Communicate complex information to employees, management, strategic partners, and regulators. Present training materials, recommendations, and initiatives, as requested.
Reporting & Responding: Prepare and compile reports as scheduled or upon request from the VP of SP Compliance. Respond to audits, regulatory examinations, and inquiries.
Recommendations & Guidance: Advise and provide guidance to the management team, Strategic Partners, and other stakeholders.
Projects & Other Job Duties: Ad hoc projects and other job duties, as assigned.
Specifications-
· Subject Matter Expert on Lending rules and regulations, as applicable to Strategic Partners.
· Three to five years of experience in managing daily Strategic Partner compliance requirements and communicating required changes and revisions to rules and regulations.
· Experience with assisting in the compliance examination process and proactively engaging with regulators.
· Experience with managing compliance risks associated with fintech partners and third-party relationships.
· Ability to use sound judgment and make critical decisions regarding compliance with minimal supervision.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to write and revise policies and procedures for new and emerging regulatory developments and concerns.
· Ability to present complex information in an understandable and relatable manner when presenting to employees, Strategic Partners, and regulators.
· CRCM Certification preferred but not required.
