What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Assistant position at Capital Claims Management, LLC?
Capital Claims Management ("CCM") is a boutique insurance claims adjusting firm providing claims handling/defense and program management services to insurance carriers. In this role, you will provide back-office support to our team of claims adjusters.
CCM provides a welcoming environment committed to developing and accentuating the talents of each team member. We are currently seeking interested Claims Assistant candidates. We offer growth opportunities and strive to promote internally as new positions become available.
Responsibilities:
1. Contact claimants and insureds to obtain information
2. Assemble & reformat submitted documentation in support of each claim
3. Create and assist in the maintenance of claim files
4. Assist claims adjusters
5. Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy are required for the responsibilities of this position.
Qualifications:
1. Education - some college preferred
2. Law firm or insurance agency experience is highly preferred
3. Office admin experience mandatory
4. Strong computer proficiency is mandatory
5. Professional written and verbal communication skills essential
