Capital City Trucking is seeking a Dispatcher to care for our customers and drivers.

Requirements:
· The work schedule for this position is Monday -Friday, starting at 07:00am and ending at 04:00pm.
· Prior experience in Trucking/Logistics is preferred by not required.
· Experience in OTR planning, customer service or driver dispatch is desirable but not required.
· Being a great communicator is required. The ability to convey detailed information in a professional manner is of utmost important.
· Must be able to utilize multiple technology systems and platforms.
· Degree preferred but experience is certainly considered instead of a degree
Essential Duties:
· To manage and care for your drivers. You are responsible for their general welfare while they are in service.
· Monitor and manage drivers to ensure on-time service.
· Ensure loads are appropriate for your drivers. Efficiency, utilization and the wise use of your driver's time is critical.
· Aid your drivers in operating safely and legally by monitoring their hours of service compliance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
