Registered Nurse (Home Care) - PRN

Capital City Nurses, a Care Advantage Inc. company, is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional homecare services throughout the greater Maryland, and DC area.

This position will be based out of our Chevy Chase, MD office and support our clients in Chevy Chase, MD and surrounding areas.

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments; develop and update individualized care plans

• Manage medications, including administration and monitoring for side effects

• Monitor and document vital signs, health status, and changes in condition

• Provide wound, catheter, and ostomy care; ensure infection control compliance

• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and medications

• Coordinate care with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members

• Oversee caregivers/CNAs and ensure quality of care

• Complete all documentation per state regulations and clinical standards

Requirements:

• Must possess an active DC or MD Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 1 year in a nursing role
• Minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing
• Comfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organization
• Adequate transportation for home visits with mileage reimbursement
• Computer/iPad technology skills for documentation purposes
