Compensation: $45,000-$50,000/year, based on experience.

Schedule: This position will have a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days in-office required per week.

SUMMARY

The Marketing and Social Media Coordinator will support the E-Commerce Department, coordinating D2C storefront marketing operations, digital assets, and digital advertising. Second, this position develops and manages all marketing materials and social media functions for the Sales and Marketing Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Website Content – Ensure that BigCommerce website offers the best possible customer experience with professional, high-quality, and on-brand content.
  • Amazon Storefront – Generate and manage all images, videos, and copy on Amazon storefront.
  • Content Creation – Create content for website and assist in the maintenance of E-commerce Marketing Content Calendar.
  • Promotions – Create and advertise promotions on organic social media, Klaviyo, capitalcityfruit.com, Google PPC and any other adopted digital marketing platforms.
  • Reporting - Track and report on website, digital advertising, and social media KPIs.
  • Organic Social Media – Create and execute a monthly social media content calendar for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Marketing Materials - Develop marketing materials as needed to help support CCF Sales and Marketing efforts and promotions.

Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Occupational Safety Procedure and all Food Safety guidelines related to the position or being on the Warehouse floor

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University preferred
  • Associate degree or 4 years CCF related work experience minimum
  • Background in Marketing – either internal or external
  • Background in E-Commerce
  • At least 1 year Marketing experience – social media, content generation and management, website management, email marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Marketing platforms
  • Adobe Illustrator, In Design or Photoshop (Or strong Canva skills)
  • Klaviyo, MailChimp, or other Email Marketing Platform
  • BigCommerce or Shopify
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office products - emphasizing Excel and Power Point.

  • Ability to read, analyze, communicate, and interpret effectively with Capital City Fruit staff and customers.

Anticipated hours per week: 40 (Hours are cyclical based on product demand and overtime may be required)

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires the mental capabilities to learn, comprehend, and communicate both orally and in writing. Some independent decision-making and problem-solving abilities are required to prepare orders and assist staff and customers. Logical thinking, the ability to manage multiple tasks and common sense are also necessary to accomplish these tasks.

WORKING CONDITIONS

General office working conditions exist. Moderate temperature conditions. Minimal exposure to cooler temperatures (38 degrees Fahrenheit). Minimal exposure to elements or chemicals. Extended hours may be required. Minimal exposure to moving equipment/machinery. The working conditions may include moderate noise levels.
