The Role
As an Experienced HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing residential HVAC systems throughout the local service area. You'll interact directly with homeowners, diagnose system issues, complete repairs, and make recommendations based on each customer's needs.
You'll be responsible for:
- Diagnosing HVAC system issues and determining appropriate repair solutions
- Completing residential service, repairs, and maintenance
- Troubleshooting equipment and identifying the root cause of problems
- Explaining findings, repair options, and recommendations clearly to homeowners
- Delivering professional, courteous customer service on every call
- Completing work safely, accurately, and efficiently
- Maintaining clear service records and communicating with the office and team
- Helping maintain the company's high standards for workmanship and customer experience
- Serving as a knowledgeable and professional representative of Capital City in the field
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who has developed strong technical skills through hands-on HVAC experience and is ready to take ownership of their work.
- 3-5 years of professional HVAC service experience
- Strong residential HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a residential service environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional approach and pride in workmanship
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- EPA certification required
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Additional HVAC licenses or certifications are a plus
- Ability to safely climb and work from ladders
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials up to 70 lbs.
