What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chimney Apprentice position at Capital Chimney Corp.?
We are a top rated and growing full service chimney company that is looking to add qualified personnel to its ranks. A part-time to a full-time position that offers competitive pay and health/dental benefits.
A background in general trades is a bonus, however, the ability to work on roofs/ ladders is a must. A sales background is a plus. Previous chimney experience and CSIA certification is an advantage.
Train and learn a trade in an industry with serious growth potential. We repair, fix, and maintain all types of chimneys including fireplaces, furnace/ water heater flues, and dryer vents. We do masonry work, relining, flue sweeps, chimney repairs, etc.
Responsibilities
- Assist experienced chimney technicians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of chimneys and flues.
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, vehicles, shop and adhering to safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Obtain and maintain a valid driver's license for travel to job sites.
