**Position Summary:**
The QSR Operations Director provides strategic direction for the team of Managing Partners (MPs) and General Managers (GMs) and acts as the primary support for the MPs and GMs in his/her designated area. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 5 years of experience in QSR operations, a deep understanding of back-office software and Excel, and a proven ability to coach and motivate teams. The ideal candidate will develop and execute company-wide visions, particularly for new product launches, ensuring consistency and excellence across all stores. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Leadership:**
- Mentor all positions within the operational area to ensure a high level of engagement and success.
- Maintain availability for the development of all operational personnel.
- **Maintain Culture:**
- **Operational Oversight:**
- Manage and oversee daily operations of multiple QSR locations to ensure high performance and compliance with company standards.
- Assist Store Managers, to ensure restaurants are delivering the Perfect Box and an exceptional Customer Experience.
- Utilize back-office software and Excel to track and analyze store performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- **Team Leadership:**
- Coach, motivate, and develop store managers and their teams to achieve operational excellence and meet business objectives.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
- **Training and Development:**
- Train and develop store managers; manage career expectations for the management team; clearly convey standards.
- **Strategic Development:**
- Develop and communicate a clear vision for company-wide initiatives, particularly for new product launches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of new product introductions and promotional campaigns.
- Understand, define, and deliver the purpose, requirements, and desired results of all company programs.
- **Business Planning:**
- Work with the store managers and company leadership to develop, implement, and manage a business plan for restaurants.
- Analyze external and internal environments to detect where improvements may be made and how those changes should be implemented.
- **Restaurant Marketing:**
- Direct field marketing support to develop comprehensive sales-driving strategies.
- Ensure effective execution of the restaurant marketing program and actively participate and engage with market-wide activities.
- Drive awareness and make recommendations for improving restaurant performance to maximize sales while managing ROI of marketing initiatives.
- **Brand Marketing:**
- Effectively execute brand marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Provide direct influence over market-wide spend and branding opportunities to maximize brand exposure and ROI.
- **Financial Accountability:**
- Maintain full responsibility for financial performance directly impacting area restaurant operations.
- Oversee the financial performance of the team of all stores; perform financial analysis of individual restaurants and the district.
- Make recommendations for improvements and be accountable for all aspects of the restaurant EBITDAR - budget planning, management, and performance.
- Analyze business trends and financial data to assess and improve area performance, both operationally and financially.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QSR operations, managing high-level multi-unit concepts.
- Strong proficiency in back-office software and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing company-wide visions and product launches.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required, College Degree preferred.
