Capital Brand Group is seeking an experienced and proactive Lead Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) / Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee and administer all safety and quality control programs across assigned construction projects. This is a dual-hat leadership role responsible for both field execution and administrative program management, including plan development, training record management, inspections, and compliance documentation.
This position requires a self-directed professional capable of writing and maintaining all required safety and quality plans, managing training and inspection records, and serving as the primary on-site point of contact for Government safety and quality representatives.
This role is hands-on, documentation-driven, and leadership-focused. The position may evolve, and additional tasks may be assigned as necessary. *
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Program Management (SSHO):
• Develop, write, submit, and maintain Accident Prevention Plans (APPs) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) in accordance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA, and contract requirements.
• Serve as the designated Site Safety & Health Officer for assigned projects.
• Conduct and document daily safety inspections and site audits.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and task-specific safety training.
• Maintain all safety documentation, including inspection logs, training records, certifications, incident reports, and corrective action logs.
• Track safety training requirements and expiration dates; coordinate renewals as needed.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses and implement corrective actions.
• Exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions are identified.
• Coordinate safety inspections and audits with Government representatives.
Quality Control Management (QCM):
• Develop, write, submit, and maintain Quality Control Plans (QCPs) in accordance with contract requirements.
• Implement and manage the Three-Phase Control System (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up).
• Conduct and document preparatory meetings, initial inspections, and follow-up inspections.
• Verify materials, equipment, and workmanship comply with approved drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Maintain QC inspection reports, deficiency logs, and corrective action tracking.
• Coordinate testing, inspections, and commissioning activities as required.
• Support project closeout documentation, including punch lists, as-builts, and turnover packages.
• Serve as the primary quality point of contact with Government inspectors and representatives.

Salary : $80,000 - $140,000
