NATURE OF WORK
This position is responsible for accurate and timely payment of invoices for vendors. The incumbent is also
responsible for appropriately coding all transactions into the financial database in a timely manner.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting, Finance or closely related field and two years' experience in accounting or related function, or a high school diploma and five years' experience in accounting or related role.

- Codes such items as invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests, etc., with correct codes
- Manages all vendor correspondence via phone or email.
- Bookkeeping and general accounting skills.
- Attaches the corresponding purchase orders to incoming invoices with all supporting documentation.
- Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
- Organize batch check runs, wire transfer and ACH transactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets;
- Invoicing and reconciliations for varying departments;
- Operating data terminals calculator and other standard office equipment;
- Verifying claims and processing orders and deposit slips;
- Reconciles various accounts by identifying errors in posting or omission by applying appropriate accounting standards;
- Process remittance information from checks, drafts, and wire transfer for invoices provided by vendor, reviewing instruction accompanying items to determine proper disposition and crediting accounts in accordance with standard procedures;
- Applying applicable laws, codes, and standards related to finance/accounting;
- Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal, and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons;
