Education/Experience Requirement

Any combination of experience to be able to obtain the required knowledge and skills to safely drive and transport students. Experience with child supervision preferred.

Licenses and other requirements

Possession of a valid California Class C Driver’s License

Training Requirements

20 hours of classroom instruction (UNPAID) and 20 hours of behind the wheel training provided (PAID)

Job Summary

Under general supervision, train to operate a school bus over designated routes in accordance with time schedules; pick up and discharge students; provide safe and efficient transportation for District students; assist in the loading and unloading of physically and mentally challenged students.
