Range 37, Step 1 begins at $28.72 per hour however, with Superintendent or designee approval and written verification of work experience beyond the job description requirements, beginning salary placement could be as high as Step 3, $31.66 per hour.

The step advancement structure is such that, depending on hire date, it could take as long as 18 months before your first salary step increase.
License/Certificate Requirement
Possession of a valid Class C California Driver’s License; must remain insurable at the standard insurance market rate.

Education/Experience
Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from high school; and three years experience in grounds maintenance including the operation of grounds equipment. Lead or supervisory experience desired.
