We are looking for a visionary Principal Full-Stack Engineer to lead the technical architecture, design, and delivery of this high-impact product. If you thrive on building scalable distributed systems, incorporating cutting-edge AI capabilities into core SaaS workflows, and shaping high-performing engineering teams, this is your stage.
What You’ll Do
- Architect & Build: Lead the end-to-end full-stack architecture for our next-generation Healthcare & Wellness loyalty platform using an AI-first development approach.
- Drive Product Engineering: Drive large-scale technical initiatives (3–6 month horizons), translating complex business/healthcare needs into robust, secure, and performant SaaS solutions.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, mentor, and elevate Senior and Staff Engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous delivery, and architectural rigor.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Product Management, Data Science, and Client Success teams to prioritize roadmaps, refine solution discovery, and deliver maximum customer value.
- Optimize & Scale: Continually iterate on software architecture, DevOps pipelines, and engineering best practices to ensure low-latency, high-availability, and modern security compliance.
Who You Are
- Full-Stack SaaS Expert: Deep hands-on experience building complex, cloud-native SaaS platforms from the ground up across front-end frameworks, microservices back-end, and database architectures.
- AI-First Mindset: Excited about integrating AI/LLM capability workflows directly into SaaS applications to drive automated personalization and deeper customer loyalty.
- Proven Technical Leader: 8 years of software engineering experience with a track record of driving technical strategy, system architecture, and mentoring cross-functional teams.
- Business-Minded Engineer: Ability to connect complex architectural decisions directly to business goals and effectively communicate solutions to both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Problem Solver: Adept at discovering root-cause technical challenges and implementing scalable, pragmatic solutions in fast-moving environments.
Work Location & Requirements
- Hybrid Schedule: 2 days/week in our Minneapolis, MN office for team collaboration, whiteboarding, and product alignment.
- Travel: Minimal (up to 5%) as needed for team offsites or key client meetings.
